Possible Sources of Funding Insurance Companies
Often an untapped source of funding for mobility equipment is insurance companies. Every company is different and the benefits vary so it would be impossible to list which insurance company will help you financially in your time of need.
Although we do work with many insurance companies, not every company has us on their approved list of providers that they use when selecting service providers. If we are not on their list, we can often apply and become certified in able to help you.
The first thing that you must do however is to contact your insurance company and find out exactly what your policy covers and if your policy covers what you need that we may be able to help you with.
A few tips on what you should have available to you prior to calling your insurance company is:
A copy of your Insurance Policy Your Insurance Policy number Your Name (as it appears on your insurance policy) Your current Address Your Social Security Number Exactly what you are requesting (Name of equipment with pricing)
Should your insurance company tell you that you qualify for assistance in the purchase and/or installation of mobility equipment, we would be happy to work with your insurance company in helping you obtain your benefits. Prior to us doing so however, in addition to the above items we will require.
