Waitman Construction Company

Cedar Creek Reservoir is three miles northeast of Trinidad on Cedar Creek in the Trinity River Basin in Henderson County.

Construction started in April 1961 and was completed in 1965. The surrounding flat to rolling terrain is surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
