POEC 5317 Computer Techniques in Policy Analysis (3 semester hours)

General introduction to computing concepts for policy analysis. Topics covered include algorithms and data structures, object orientation, statistical computing, data base principles, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and internet computing.
