GISC 5317 Computer Programming for GIS (3 semester hours) (3-0) R

General introduction to Visual Basic and other languages with GIS related applications. Topics covered include fundamental data structures and algorithms, user-interface design, component object model, and data base management. Emphasis on rapid GIS application development with hands-on experiences. Students are expected to design and implement a project.
