GEOS 5481 Digital Geophysical Signal Processing (4 semester hours)

Principles of the analysis of geophysical signals in both time and space. Includes integral transforms, spectral analysis, linear filter theory and deconvolution techniques. Computer applications are emphasized. Laboratory course. Prerequisite: GEOS 5303 or equivalent, may be taken concurrently. (3-3) R
