Webmaster duties include the development of meaningful site content, graphic layout, page and site design. Study of new technologies and methodologies suitable for current and future implementation. Installation, administration, modernization and trouble shooting of client Websites residing on remote UNIX host servers. Translation and creation of HTML documentation, including the development and maintenance of CGI, JAVA and Perl scripts.
Greatest interests are in Website solutions; including, content creation, site development, software programming and systems & network administration. In-fact, in an effort to improve our content creation in the realm of geographic information systems, I have recently completed the GIS Certificate Curriculum under the direction of Dr. Ron Briggs, Professor of Geographic Information Sciences at UTD.
While serving a second tour in the United States Navy, a duty related diving accident caused a C-5 spinal cord injury and resulted in paralysis and a loss of sensation below chest level. I now use a power wheelchair for mobility and drive an adapted motor vehicle.
